Christopher Hobbs graduated from Paint Creek ISD, a rural school in the farming communities of west Texas. He attended Angelo State University to obtain a BS in chemistry. He then attended Texas A&M University in College Station to pursue his Ph.D. in chemistry under the supervision of Prof. David Bergbreiter. For the past few years he has served as Assistant Professor at Angelo State University and Texas A&M University-Kingsville before moving to Sam Houston State University.
